Heidi is also a German-to-English translator with over twenty years of experience, working under the name Heidi Holzer. Her most recent translation is The Light in the West, a short crime story by the German author, Nina George, was published in the May/June 2011 issue of World Literature Today.
Set during and after German Reunification, The Light in the West is a story of love, courage, disappointment…and revenge.
